Who we are

Our Story

We are a Bible-believing church declaring Jesus and making disciples in Old Town and Swindon for more than 100 years.

We are truly an international church with people from over 20 countries worshipping with us.

We love our diversity, and we believe that God has made all of us unique. But whilst we are all different, there is one thing which everyone in our church has in common: we’ve all had our lives transformed by Jesus.

We lead people to become disciples of Jesus Christ

Everything we do centres around the good news of Jesus. We want to help people to know Jesus and love him more.

Our core values

God’s word is the foundation for all we do as a church. It reveals to us a loving God who is supremely joyful and good. As we encounter God in his word, the Spirit changes us to become more like him. Together we are built into a body of God’s people who are characterised by joy and affection for Christ

We seek to grow together by fostering a community of care and discipleship. We purposefully share our lives with one another and pray together. With God’s word as our authority we work to identify and exercise our gifts to serve the church.

The gospel of Jesus is true, beautiful and desperately needed by our world. Confident in its power, we share it persuasively and accessibly to those around us, both in Swindon and beyond. We declare the truth in word and in deed.
